The Small town Life
Hi there!!!
Long time indeed since i have written something neat here
Today, i wanted to appreciate this new version in my life i.e., Village Life. Its been like 9 months since i moved to this place. and it took a while to settle , absorb and embrace the little joys of my living here...
I learnt the easy way around to appreciate things, i should thank my parents for my upbringing in this. So, here i am to pen down a few of many things i appreciate in my village
- The Majestic Godavari river, also known as the Ganga of the South India, which carries a heritage, and also the legacy of Sir Arthur Cotton, who everyone of Coastal Andhra admires
- Work place, though not sophisticated to the other places i worked earlier, i love my office. The perks are its is surrounded by lush greenery, amidst mango grooves and huge fig trees and also the local fauna. My office also happens to be the guest house of Sir Arthur Cotton, who lived in this bungalow during the construction of SACB, 150 years ago.
- This town lies along the coast of Godavari, and is covered with greenery and has beautiful picturesque citing like the Maredummulli, Sileru, rampa chodavaram , atreyapuram etc., which are quite different places filled with slow lifestyle, huge coconut trees, streams flowing in their verandahs unlike cities .
- Is there a way to fall for someone or something again and again...cos i fell for this town every single time it rains.. People ,who know me, knew that I love green landscape and mountains and living here, makes me count my blessings.
- This place gives us fresh produce , lesser pollution, sweet water and happy people..which are rare these days.
- I enjoy going to a random shop and talk everything with them.. and they being extra sweet sometimes when i turn grumpy.
